Don Ames, LDO

Don is a Washington State Licensed Dispensing Optician and has been associated with Kitsap Eyecare Centers, Inc. P.S. (Poulsbo Eyecare Center) for over 32 years.

A former partner in a local optical wholesale lab, he has over 48 years of extensive knowledge and experience in all phases of the manufacture and repair of optical eye wear.

Contact lenses have always been his specialty, and most all of the Gas Permeable contact lenses are manufactured by him at the Poulsbo facility.
He also edges and finishes a majority of the optical eye wear dispensed in the Poulsbo practice, along with repairs and necessary modifications of patients eye wear.
